If your civil liability insurance is not through o2o, follow these steps to report the claim to your own insurance company.

Step 1: Collect the documents for your file

Damage from collision with a car

  1. Fill out the European collision form: this form is in the other party's car.

  2. Use your own insurance company's insurance information instead of o2o's.

    • Insurance company

    • Contract number

    • Insurance broker

  3. Do you not have a European collision form? Call the police to obtain a police report (PV) or certificate of traffic accident.

Damage with a pedestrian or other cyclist

  1. Call the police to obtain a police report (PV) or certificate of traffic accident.

  2. Provide a detailed description of the facts in the PV

    • The reason and cause of the accident

    • The time of the accident

    • A site description

    • The details of the other party (if known) and who was at fault.

    • The frame number of the bicycle

    • And other relevant information.

Important information

  • Frame number: make sure the frame number of the lease bicycle is indicated on the PV or certificate. Found in myo2o Biker under 'Your Bicycle(s)' and then 'Your Bicycle(s) features'.

  • Insurance information: Use your own insurance insurance information instead of o2o's.

Step 2: Contact your own insurance company

  1. Report the damage to your own insurance company: provide all collected documents and the official report (PV) to your insurance company.

  2. Follow your insurance company's instructions: file the claim.
