Step 1: Collect the documents for your file
Damage from collision with a car
Fill out the European collision form: this form is in the other party's car.
Use the following insurance details for the Insurance Company section:

Do you not have a European collision form? Call the police to obtain a police report (PV) or certificate of traffic accident.
Damage with a pedestrian or other cyclist
Call the police to obtain a police report (PV) or certificate of traffic accident.
Provide a detailed description of the facts in the PV
The reason and cause of the accident
The time of the accident
A site description
The details of the other party (if known) and who was at fault.
The frame number of the Bicycle
Other relevant information.
Important information
Frame number: make sure the frame number of the lease bicycle is indicated on the PV or certificate. Found in myo2o Biker under Your Bicycle(s) and then Your Bicycle(s) features.
Insurance information: if insurance details are needed, use the information from the insurance company (see above).
Step 2: Report the damage
If the civil liability insurance is not through o2o
Start up an insurance dossier with your family insurance provider
Report your accident to your family insurance provider along with the above-mentioned documents.
If the civil liability insurance is through o2o
Start an insurance dossier with o2o via myo2o Biker
Once logged into myo2o Biker, go to the Damage/Theft button. After that, you will be easily guided through the complete process.
Step 3: The insurance provider handles your case
Upon receipt of your complete dossier, the insurance provider will process your claim and decide whether the damage is covered (see also the insurance terms and exclusions under General Terms and Conditions).
