Do you have an o2o lease bicycle and want to claim your extended warranty? Then follow these steps to get your bicycle repaired quickly without unexpected costs.

Please note! It is important to report the damage to the bicycle before the bicycle shop starts any repairs.

Timing: which guarantee

  • During the first 2 years of the factory warranty, contact your bicycle dealer directly for a damage repair via the manufacturer.

  • Has the first 2 years of the factory warranty expired and you have additional warranty insurance to extend the factory warranty? Then follow the procedure below.

  • Can't remember if you included this additional warranty in your lease? Then check via myo2o Biker under 'Your Bicycle - Your Services' whether the extended warranty is active. You can also see in your Rental Quote or Addendum under the overview if this service is active.

For bicycles leased before 01/01/2023

CG Car-Garantie Versicherungs-AG, Belgium Branch, Ruiterijschool 1 - Bus 6, 2930 Brasschaat, e-mail: schadeclaims @cargarantie.be. The staff can be reached by phone Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at +32 3 287 76 68.

Step 1: Print the warranty certificate

Print out your bicycle's warranty certificate to take to the bicycle repair shop. You can find this insurance certificate in myo2o Biker under Your bicycle under the Documentssection.

Step 2: Go to your bicycle repair shop

Preferably to the bicycle dealer where you ordered your bicycle, as they know your two-wheeler best. Ask your bicycle repair shop to inform Car-Garantie by phone or mail about the damage before the repair. The insurance is settled directly with the bicycle dealer. The bicycle dealer will settle with you only the costs that are not eligible for reimbursement. This can be via the service budget or your own funds. Otherwise, follow the instructions of the Car-Garantie staff.

Extra: don't forget to download the correct IPID (1) (Insurance Product Information Document) from Car-Garantie. In addition, you can also find the conditions that apply on the warranty certificate on myo2o Biker under Your bicycle, in the Documents section.
