Annual transfer
At the end of each full year you lease the bicycle, we carry the remaining service budget forward to the next year of use. That way, you save up unused budget that you can use later for maintenance, repairs or accessories.
Normal end of contract
Are you coming to the end of your lease contract because the lease term is expiring? We will inform you four months in advance that the end date of your contract is approaching.
If you have service budget left over, you can use it to put your bicycle in working order and/or buy spare parts for maintenance or repairs on your bicycle.
If you still have service budget left after that, we will transfer the remaining amount to a voucher, provided that you take out a new bicycle lease contract within a period of 6 months[1] after the end of your previous contract. The amount of this voucher will then come on top of the service budget of your next contract and will be added automatically.
Note: the remaining service budget will never make the takeover price lower than the initially anticipated takeover price at the normal end.
Premature end of the contract
Will your contract end before the envisaged end date? Then there are 2 possibilities.
Will you take over the bicycle? Then we will deduct the accumulated service budget in the takeover price.
Will you return the bicycle? Then we will deduct the accumulated service budget in the termination compensation.
The balance of your service budget can be positive or negative. If the balance is negative, this is when more service budget is used than accumulated, we also deduct this.
Please note. Once the premature end of the contract is signed, the service budget is set to 0 and you can therefore no longer pay maintenance with it. Any maintenance service provided after you sign the premature end of the contract is therefore at your own expense.
[1] Does your employer work with a cafeteria plan and you can only order the new bicycle once a year? If so, we will make an exception.
