Pay for taking over your lease bicycle with your mobility budget

Upload your invoice, get your money back. It’s that simple.

Your lease contract is ending and you’re keeping your lease bicycle? Then o2o sends you a takeover invoice in your name. Do you have a federal mobility budget through your employer? Then you pay that invoice with it.

Good to know: how you paid for the lease doesn’t matter. Gross salary, end-of-year bonus or mobility budget: the takeover always qualifies.

How it works

  1. You get your invoice. About a month before your contract’s end date, o2o sends you the takeover invoice.

  2. You pay it yourself. You advance the amount. Keep your proof of payment, you’ll need it in a moment.

  3. You request a refund. Open your mobility budget app, for example Olympus Mobility. Start a refund request and upload your invoice and proof of payment.

  4. You get your money back. How that happens depends on your provider. Olympus Mobility pays the amount straight into your bank account. With many other providers, you’ll see it on your payslip and receive it with your monthly salary.

Check this before you decide

  • Do you have enough budget left? The takeover price is 16% or 20% of the catalogue price, accessories included. You’ll find the exact amount in myo2o Biker under Your bicycle(s). Compare it with your balance and you’ll know right away where you stand.

  • Keep an eye on the turn of the year. Your mobility budget runs per calendar year. Getting your invoice in late December? Ask your employer which budget year the refund comes from.

  • Your employer sets the rules. Your employer decides which expenses count and which supporting documents you need. Your HR manager knows all the details.

What else you can pay with your mobility budget

  • Maintenance once your maintenance budget is used up. The bicycle shop bills you for these costs directly.

  • A replacement bicycle, for the part above o2o’s contribution.

It works the same way here: pay yourself, upload invoice and proof of payment, get your money back.

What about the early termination fee?

Ending your lease contract early? Then you pay an early termination fee. You pay it yourself, separately from your mobility budget. It’s a fee from your contract, and it falls outside the mobility costs your budget covers.
