Keep your lease bicycle in top condition and hit the road safely. Here's what you need to know when your lease bicycle undergoes maintenance.
Check your maintenance budget
How much maintenance budget is available? You'll find the answer in o2o Biker. Go to Your bicycle and click on the section Your bicycle contract - Available maintenance budget for more details.
Make an appointment with your bicycle dealer
Visit an o2o partner bicycle dealer and pay with your maintenance budget. You can choose between the bicycle dealer's workshop or a mobile bicycle dealer who works on location.
If you choose the dealer who delivered your lease bicycle, you are on familiar territory, because this one knows your Bicycle inside out.
Would you like to use a different dealer? No problem! As long as they are partner of o2o, because then you pay with your maintenance budget instead of your own money.
Please note: invoices from bicycle dealers not affiliated to the o2o partner network cannot be recovered via the maintenance budget afterwards.
Correct documentation and keys
Make sure you have all necessary documentation and bicycle keys on hand when you take your bicycle to the bicycle dealer. That way, you avoid unnecessary delays.
Always give your BikeID number to the bicycle dealer for a maintenance or repair of your Bicycle: this unique code makes the communication easier. You can find your number on the sticker on your bike or in your o2o Biker account.
Costs and maintenance budget
During a maintenance service, it is good to know if there are any costs that are outside your maintenance budget. If you have questions about your maintenance budget, you can always consult o2o Biker or contact our helpdesk.
When the job is done, o2o deals directly with your bicycle dealer. And do you have insufficient maintenance budget to pay for the service? No problem! Then you pay the difference yourself. The bicycle dealer will settle the difference on the spot.
Breakdown on the road
Had a breakdown on the road and need servicing? Check whether breakdown assistance is activated in o2o Biker. Write down the breakdown assistance number and save it in your phone.
Need a replacement bicycle?
For a replacement bicycle in the event of maintenance or long-term repair (which is not covered by Bicycle Care Damage or Theft), you can contact the Dealer, Decathlon or Bike Republic, provided that a replacement bicycle is available.
