With a personal contribution, you reduce the monthly rental price of your lease bicycle. This is useful if your favourite two-wheeler is just outside the allocated budget.

What is a personal contribution?

  • You pay a one-time fee to o2o. We fix this amount in advance.

  • The total lease price lowers as a result, resulting in a lower monthly rental price.

How does it work?

  • Approval from employer needed

First check if your employer allows a personal contribution. You can find this in your company's bicycle policy.

  • Unchanged parameters

Except for the rental price, all other parameters for calculating rent stay the same. The insured value stays, for example, based on the original value of the bicycle and accessories.

  • Not reimbursed in the event of theft or damage

The personal contribution is not refundable in the event of theft or if the bicycle is written off due to damage. The amount is included in the Bicycle Care Damage and Theft and discount voucher you receive after an approved return.

  • Takeover of the bicycle

At the end of your lease contract, you can take over the bicycle at 16% or 20% of the original list price of the bicycle and related accessories. You can find more details on this in the Bicycle Policy.

How do you arrange it?

1. Check the bicycle policy

First check whether your employer allows a personal contribution.

2. Determine your personal contribution

Simulate your amount via "Discover what fits your budget" or by selecting a bike via "directly via o2o". Look for the blue pricing frame and click on the sentence "Is the bike you want just outside your budget? Add a personal contribution so you can still lease the bike. Calculate here."

3. Enjoy a lower monthly cost

Benefit from the reduced monthly rental price and lease your favorite bike.
