Is your lease bicycle a speed pedelec, and are you at the end of your contract? Then there are two options:

  1. Have you decided to take over the speed pedelec at the end of your lease contract?o2o is the holder of the number plate attached to the speed pedelec, as indicated on the registration certificate. Have this number plate annulled at a Bpost office and mail us proof of annulment at the end of your lease.

Please note! Deleting the plate is not enough; only annulment is accepted.

Do you want to register the bicycle back in your own name and apply for a new plate for your speed pedelec? Then check the website of the Federal Government which provides practical information on what you have to do. You can find this info under the section How to register a used vehicle?

As mentioned, you must submit both parts of the registration certificate at the Bpost office. The staff member at the post office will cancel the registration certificate you submit, and provide you with a new registration form.

You can also arrange the new registration through certain post offices.

If you have lost one or both parts of the registration certificate, immatriculation certificate (CIM) or certificate of conformity (COC), then follow the steps from 'What if I lose my speed pedelec number plate or accompanying documents?' before the end of your lease contract.

  2. Have you decided to return the speed pedelec to o2o at the end of your lease contract? Then leave the plate on the bicycle and deliver the speed pedelec, together with the 2 original parts of the registration certificate and the original COC (you received these from the bicycle dealer at the start of the lease contract), to the chosen Decathlon branch.

How do you make an appointment at the Decathlon bicycle return point? Respond to Decathlon's emails sent in advance to the email address provided in the end-of-contract flow to make an appointment.

Please note! The bicycle will be accepted only if all necessary documents are present. You also return any chargers, keys and code (Stromer). Avoid unpleasant surprises at the end of your lease and use your remaining service budget to have the bicycle checked at your bicycle dealer or Decathlon.

Have you lost one or both parts of the registration certificate, immatriculation certificate (CIM) or certificate of conformity (COC)? Then follow the steps in 'What if I lose my speed pedelec number plate or accompanying documents?' before the end of your lease.
